The Endless Forest Nutcracker is a heartwarming and creative rendition of the traditional holiday ballet, and is presented by Dance Project Saint Louis in conjunction with Common Thread Contemporary Dance Company. In a twist on the original tale by E.T.A. Hoffman, we set Clara’s tale in her auntie’s cabin. In her travels, she will discover the love of family, the magic of the Forest, and the enchantment to be found when dreams become reality and the next step on the path becomes the first step in a new world.
The Endless Forest Nutcracker is based upon Tale of Tales’ interactive MMO/screensaver “The Endless Forest,” in which players become deer in a magical forest. There are no rules, no language, just beauty, peace, and love.
