Dance Project Saint Louis

What’s Around

SkyStone Conservatory is surrounded by shops and restaurants not just on Big Bend, but also tucked away on beautiful side streets. If you’re looking for new ideas for your home or for gifts, or just need a place to relax while you’re waiting for your SkyStone student to finish class or rehearsal, Webster Groves has a lot to offer! For more information about our new city and the surrounding area, please visit the official website of Webster Groves.

Where to shop:

Music Folk was founded in 1973 by Bill and Janet Boyer, who along with their children had been performing folk music in the St. Louis area for many years. It has become one of the principle retailers of folk and other acoustic instruments in our city.

The Kerry Cottage is a charming Irish oasis where you’ll discover quality clothing, jewelry, fine crystal and china from the Emerald Isle. Founded by the Lawlor family in 1988, the signature thatched roof remains an icon of their continuing, authentically Irish tradition.

The Novel Neighbor is right next door! New book releases for adult and young readers alike, workshops and classes, all in a colorful community space.

Where to eat:

The Grove Deli has been providing quality food and exceptional service to the Webster Groves area for over 30 years. Now under the stewardship of local chef Jason Henry, The Grove specializes in made-to-order sandwiches, fresh salads and hand-crafted soups.

Einstein Bros. Bagels is down the street. If you’re in the mood for freshly baked bagels, breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, and good coffee, you’re just a block or two away.

Big Sky Cafe is committed to supporting local farms and producers. About 99.44% of their beef, chicken, pork, eggs, bread and staff are provided by farms and producers in the states of Missouri and Illinois. They take great pride in good food and in providing a high quality hospitality experience.

Cyrano’s Cafe has been a Webster Groves institution for 40 years. Cyrano’s is known for their award-winning desserts and bistro-style dining. Drop in for a coffee and a World’s Fair Eclair!

Dewey’s Pizza is just a quick drive down Lockwood. Dewey’s specializes in artisan and seasonal pizzas made with the freshest ingredients.

Stratton’s Cafe was established in 2003. Their breakfast, lunch, and dinner service is fast casual and offered in a warm, relaxed, friendly environment. With their “from scratch” menu and wide variety of food and specialty drinks, we are sure you will find something to satisfy your taste buds.
